Moving Along

Jun 29, 2009

The other day I got an e-mail from Jordan at Hufnagel Bicycles in Portland that he was almost ready to start building a custom bike for me. So I think it’s about time to let my old road bike go.

It’s a 2005 Cannondale R1000. It’s a 60cm frame. The carbon fork is super strong and straight. I got it brand new from the factory in trade for some tattoos. I put 1000s on miles on this bike while I lived in Albuquerque. It’s certainly not new anymore. Anybody wanna give me $400 for it as is? It just needs a wheelset, seat and seatpost. Check out the sweet drivetrain.

It’s in great shape, other than this ding in the toptube.

Oops! This is an awesome bike for longer rides. It’s super light. And the flat black finish is a rare treat. E-mail me if you’d like more info.

And things are moving along at my storefront. Megan and Mark were helping me get it painted on Friday afternoon.

I opted to get the spots up high.

Yesterday my man Ethan came by and installed a temporary plywood wall for displaying artwork.

This evening my buddy Francisco will be installing another temporary wall and a desk for me in the back.

I also got a nice stash of unsold framed artwork from White Walls.

So, let’s get this shit started! Come on down this Friday night, July 3rd, for the official public opening of

Private Studio 260
260 Divisadero Street near Haight
San Francisco, Califas

The opening will be open from 6-9pm. Please stop by and bring cash for insane deals on originals and posters.

Also, I’m offering a special guest list only VIP opening for friends this Thursday night, July 2nd. Please e-mail if you’d like to be added to the list. If I don’t know you personally, please come to the public opening on Friday night.

The space will also be open every Saturday from noon to 8pm starting July 4th.

There will be an opening to debut new work every first Friday of the month. And collectors should feel free to contact me anytime about private appointments to see what I have to offer as well.

Hope to see you there!
